FCSO rolls out ‘Relay for Life’ edition cruiser

Fayette County’s Relay for Life fund raiser for American Cancer Society is about a month away, and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is showing its support in a “flashy” way, you might say.

Just over a week ago, the 2014 Dodge Charger patrol car driven by Lieutenant Terry Black was wrapped in a “Paint Your World Purple” graphic meant to draw attention to the May 13 event, which will take place at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone.

As well, Relay for Life donations, which are tax deductible, can be made at the sheriff’s office on Johnson Avenue in Fayetteville, and purple bows are being offered for a suggested donation of $10.

Check out the Wednesday editions of Fayette County News and Today in Peachtree City for more information on Fayette County’s Relay for Life event.
